Kentucky Secretary of State Alison Lundergan Grimes presented Robertson County Middle School with a 100% participation plaque in the “Get Out the Vote” slogan contest part.  The contest is part of the Secretary of State’s civic education in the commonwealth.  Mr. Aaron Massey used the materials for middle school social studies and encouraged all student to enter the contest this year.

The sponsors for the 2017-2018, 29th Annual Essay and Slogan Contest include the University of Kentucky Scripps Howard First Amendment Center, the Kentucky Department of Education, Kentucky Education Association and KEA Retired. The UK Scripps Howard First Amendment Center also judges the essay portion of the contest.
